Unboxing: Brother LS2160

So I decided to discontinue my dressmaking class.

I know.. Boooo!

And I just wanna clarify, it's not because of the school. They have been very supportive and flexible to their student's needs. All the way, I swear!  My decision is more like "it's not them, it's me" kinda thing. Arte lang?!!! I would highly recommend Filipino Digerati Association for those kabayans in the U.A.E., who wants to do something useful and creative on their free time.

Anyways, since I wont be attending the class anymore, I thought that it's about time to open my brand new sewing machine!! Charaaaannnn!!

Well. it's not really brand new as in "brand new", it was given to me almost two months ago on my birthday, and iv'e been hiding it since then. Notice that I plastered the picture with a bunch of stickers to camouflage the mess in my bed. HEHEHE..

It's from Brother, model LS-2160

It came with an instruction CD, which I watched for the first time today. And this will sound stupid, but I didn't know that there is actually a small compartment in the machine.

Right there. Just under the feed dogs. It keeps a small pouch which holds the small screwdriver, 3 bobbins, thread cassette, clip-on zigzag foot, clip-on zipper foot, and other stuff that i can't name yet. Hehe.
I watched the tutorial and did my first bobbin winding. I learned how to operate it in a few tries. Yey! My only problem now, is a table where I can put the machine. Unfortunately, my bed is not conducive for proper sewing.

I have my eyes on something like this.

Coz you can fold it like this. Saves tons of space!

I asked my friend to make one. I hope he comes through. Hoho
